Content Abstract

The Marvelous Chinese Civilization series mainly focus on the children readers aged 6-12. It comprehensively displays the multiple presentations and achievements of Chinese civilization in the form of picture books, and presents the best aspects of Chinese culture in easy language and pictures in a highly artistic way. This book mainly introduces the knowledge related to the four great inventions in ancient China.

作者简介

蒙曼，著名文化学者，中央民族大学教授，博士生导师。主要研究方向是隋唐五代史、中国古代妇女史。已发表《唐代前期北衙禁军制度研究》《唐代长安的公主宅第》等专著和论文。

2007年以来，先后在央视《百家讲坛》节目中讲授《武则天》《太平公主》《长恨歌》《大隋风云》等内容，并出版同名系列图书。近年来，多次担任央视《中国诗词大会》《中国汉字听写大会》《中国成语大会》《中国谜语大会》《魅力中国城》等节目的点评嘉宾，受到广泛好评。

Author Introduction

Meng man is a famous cultural scholar; Professor and Doctor’s Supervisor at the Minzu University of China. Her main research directions include history of the Sui and Tang Dynasties and the Five Dynasties and the history of ancient Chinese women.

She publishes such monographs and papers as Study on Beiya Imperial Guard System in the Early Tang Dynasty and Princess Houses in Chang’an during the Tang Dynasty.

Since 2007, she has described Wu Zetian, Princess Taiping, The Song of Everlasting Sorrow, Great Stories of the Sui Dynasty and other contents in CCTV-10 Lecture Room, and has published a series of books of the same name. In recent years, she has been widely praised as a commentary guest for CCTV programs such as Chinese Poetry Conference, Chinese Characters Dictation Conference, Chinese Idiom Conference, Chinese Riddle Conference, Charming Chinatown, etc.

Zhang Di is Chief Editor of Paycandy Culture Media Co., Ltd. Zhang Di is designer and editor of creative children’s books such as Various Faces: Children’s Creative Art, Interesting Three-Dimensional Flip Book Series: Moving Vehicles Up and Moving Ships Up, Panoramic Creative Magnetic Sticker Series and Encyclopedia of Unknowns for Children’s Wisdom Series Human Body Mazes and Around the World Mazes.
